The EU strengthens its stance on Greenwashing

The article points out that companies will no longer be able to hide behind meaningless ecological promises. The EU is committed to putting an end to this charade by imposing strict rules requiring “scientific” evidences and tougher sanctions.

This is a big win for transparency and sustainability, although it is certainly imperfect and will take time to create real change. Hopefully, consumers and investors alike will soon be able to make informed choices and support the real agents of transformation.
